Canadian rock band formed in Hanna, Alberta, Canada in 1995 by Chad Kroeger, Ryan Peake, Mike Kroeger and Daniel Adair. Mainly play rock music but also like to expiriment with variations of different styles such as pop or country. Nickelback is one of the most commercially successfull Canadian rock band. They have sold over 35 millions albums since they started. Also the fact that the band in the list of best selling music was ranked on 11-th place. band is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Its name originates from the nickel in change that band member Mike Kroeger gave customers at his job at Starbucks; he would frequently say, "Here's your nickel back."
